Washington Rugby Football Club (WRFC) is the oldest rugby club in Washington, DC. With a Tradition of Excellence since 1963, WRFC fields two 15s sides and two 7s sides, promotes Youth Rugby in DC and is host of the annual Cherry Blossom Tournament. As a proud resident of the District of Columbia, WRFC is dedicated to top quality rugby and serving the community in DC on and off the Rugby Pitch.

The Washington Irish are a Division I & III Men’s Rugby Football Club in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union of USA Rugby. The club was founded in 1980 and we are based in the Washington, DC, metro area of the United States.

The Washington Renegades is a men's rugby union football club. We are a member of the Capital Rugby Union (CRU), USA Rugby (USAR) and a founding member of International Gay Rugby (IGR). We field competitive sides in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) of USAR in Division III and Division IV and participate in the IGR Championship — the Mark Bingham Cup — every two years.

The Washington Scandals Rugby Football Club was originally founded in the spring of 2013 to foster community and athleticism for gay men in the DC metropolitan area. The organization currently works to promote diversity and an inclusive environment for all athletes regardless of sexual orientation, race, age, religion, or fitness level through learning and playing the dynamic sport of rugby.

The Potomac Exiles are a Division One Men’s Rugby Club, competing in USA Rugby’s Mid-Atlantic Conference and located in the Washington DC Metro area. The club was formed in the fall of 2014, when two former rivals, the Potomac Athletic Club (based in Washington DC) and Maryland Exiles (based in Bethesda / Silver Spring, Maryland), set aside the bruised shoulders and ribs, and decided to join forces

The Washington Women’s Rugby Football Club, better known as the DC Furies, is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the nation. The Furies currently participate in Division 1 rugby. The club is comprised of a mix of elite, developmental, and beginner athletes. The Furies play in the spring, summer, and fall, with skills and fitness work throughout the winter.

The DC Revolution Rugby Club was founded in July 2019 to promote inclusive and accessible developmental rugby in the DC area. The Revolution community prioritizes trust and having fun in order to welcome players of all skill levels, from those with no prior rugby experience to those with elite rugby backgrounds. The team competes in Division 3 of the Capital Rugby Union during the fall and spring seasons and fields a social summer 7s team affectionately known as the “Swamp Monsters” to honor its inaugural Summer 2019 season.
