Owned by two former rugby players, Tight Five Pub strives to recreate on a daily basis the time-honored rugby tradition of a communal celebration after every match where players and fans from both teams come together to socialize over food or drinks. Actually, its a sport. It was created in England in the 1800s and is one of the fastest growing sports in the world today. It’s a team sport played with 15 players per team on the field at a time (or 7 for another version of the sport). You run with the ball, pass the ball (but only backwards) and kick the ball, with the ultimate goal of touching the ball down when you have passed your opponent’s goal line (its called a try line), all while avoiding being tackled by your opponents. If you don’t know rugby yet, the Tight Five Pub is the perfect place to watch a game and fall in love. Or you can just look it up on Wikipedia, but where’s the fun in that?
